Angela Rose Biography
Angela Rose is an indie pop artist and songwriter from Mulubinba/Newcastle, NSW, whose heartfelt melodies and striking vocal presence have made a significant mark in the Australian music scene. Fusing indie pop with alt-country influences, Angela’s music reflects her raw emotion and compelling storytelling.
‘Sleep Easy’ is the first single for Angela Rose in 2025. ‘Sleep Easy’ explores unrequited love, sleepless nights and the hope that dreaming of the one you miss may ease the hurt. Dreamy indie-pop soundscapes capture the mood of the song effortlessly, and allow for Rose’s vocals to truly shine with stacked harmonies throughout.
Angela Rose was hand-picked by Australian music icons Angus & Julia Stone for the Wild Turkey Music 101 Mentorship Program in 2024, with Angus & Julia Stone commending Angela Rose’s individual artistry and captivating lyricism.
2023 was also a turbulent year for Angela Rose, with her debut EP ‘Late Bloomer’ gracing the airwaves. Angela Rose was also a winner of the 2023 Triple J Unearthed x NIDA music video competition for the EP title track ‘Late Bloomer’.
