Bands where on form. Really enjoyed it. It's great to see young act's coming threw with that sound and tone. I've been following Wynona from their r51/RSI days. When everyone had them a beaten docket in at small point in their career I knew they would be still around and relevant today and they proved me right. Both supporting bands reminded me of the Day's when Jonny and Melissia Started out. Very wholesome. Shout out to the Soundie and promotor also... nice. I hope the audience grows.

Wynona Bleach Biography

Mixing alternative rock, shoegaze and power pop, Wynona Bleach are a 5 piece from Belfast, NI. Signing to Legendary indie label Fierce Panda Records (Coldplay, Placebo, Supergrass) in 2021, Wynona Bleach's hotly anticipated debut album “Moonsoake” was released on 18th Feb 2022. Recorded with Bill Ryder-Jones in an abandoned factory in Portugal where the band hauled an entire recording studio from their hometown of Belfast, Northern Ireland - almost immediately after completing a short tour with Alice in Chains as the personally chosen support for the sold out Irish leg of their 2019 world tour (Olympia Dublin and Belfast Telegraph Building). Since forming in 2018 from the ashes of a previous incarnation the band have performed at BBC introducing stages at Reading and Leeds festivals, completed a 12 date headline tour of Russia (covering 6500 miles and ZERO days off) and supported acts like Lonely the Brave and Feeder. Relentless touring in 2022 coincided with the debut album's release, and the band were nominated for the Northern Ireland Music Prize for both Album and Live act in late 2022.

A winter tour in 2022 culminated in two shows at Other Voices Festival 2022, and they release a new single; “Swim In The Bay” in Jan 2024 following the bands showcases at SXSW 2023 (Austin, Texas), New Colossus Festival (NYC), a full UK and Irish autumn tour before a showcase at Ireland Music Week 2023, after which the rounded up 2023 with a 5 date Irish tour alongside the legendary fellow northern Irish power-pop outfit Ash, culminating at the Ulster Hall Belfast. This tied in with a reissue of the debut album on limited edition splatter vinyl.

The band are now embarking on the recording of their follow up to Moonsoake, recording with the aforementioned Andy Bradfield in 2024 between studios in Belfast and London, with a release date scheduled for late 2024 on Fierce Panda Records.
