MAJORS Biography
MAJORS’ music is a high-energy blend of modern rock and golf themed storytelling.
Beginning in 2023, the band reunited two former members of The Fully Down; Justin Camarena and Rich "Bricks" Latour. After reconnecting through golf, they set out to build MAJORS - creating a niche for punk rock & golf enthusiasts.
The lineup expanded in 2025 with the addition of Nathan Pearce (guitar,) Jeff Britten (bass) and We Were Sharks’ Jason Mooney (guitar.) Each bringing their own pedigree as established touring recording artists.
MAJORS' first release “Songs in the Key of Golf” accumulated a swell of support in Canada, the US and Latin America. Currently, the band is splitting time between the studio and live performances as they ramp up for their anticipated sophomore release - the first with the new lineup.
QUOTES:
Rock Era Magazine: What makes ‘Etiquette’ so compelling isn’t just the concept, but how MAJORS commit to it: [...] There’s something magnetic about how seriously they play it, even as the subject matter veers into the bizarre. This isn’t novelty music; it’s a tightly constructed punk banger”
The Big Takeover: “...even if the subject matter takes a bit of getting used to, this is excellent music, alt-rock writ large...”
Rock Era Magazine: “MAJORS have carved out a strangely specific niche: punk rock with a golf obsession, but [...] proves it’s more than just a gimmick. It’s smart, aggressive, and genuinely fun.”
