A rare chance to witness one of the most distinctive acts of their era back on stage—this is an event not to be missed.” Formed in 1989 in Washington D.C, Girls against Boys (GVSB) were one of the most unique and revered bands to emerge from the post-hardcore/noise rock scene of the 90's. Releasing a string of acclaimed albums on some of the most important indie and major labels of the time, GVSB proved themselves to be a band that went from strength to strength with each release during the 90's and early 2000's, and became one of the much loved live acts of the alt-rock international festival and touring circuit. 2026 will see GVSB making a long awaited return to Australia for the first time in over 2 decades, in celebration of the anniversary of the release of their album "Cruise Yourself" on the legendary Touch and Go record label. The members of the bands classic era: Scott McCloud, Johnny Temple and Alexis Fleisig will be joined by John Schmersal of the much- celebrated underground act Brainiac, for this very special Australian tour.
