The Textures Biography
Often described as soulful funk with a taste for jams, they emerged as one of the hottest bands out of the Quad City music scene after winning Battle of the Bands: Road to Summercamp 2019, and again in 2022.
Front-woman & lead vocalist, Kelsey Lillion is known as the "Lil' Lion" of the band, for her powerful vocal range, low-end grit, and edgy lyrics that speak about the human experience.
Their dual guitarists build rhythmic layers that fill space and speak volume about their heart and soul pedals.
The bands quick sliding basslines and frequency shifting percussive keys make for disco-funk grooves that transcend space & time.
Topped off with fast-paced, and precision hitting drums, The Textures find the pocket every show, and fill it with layers of unique sound that is sure to make hips shake and heads move.
