It’s Punk vs Ska at The Tote, and the gloves are off!Get ready for a night of skanking, head bopping, and push-moshing chaos as Melbourne’s own heavy-hitters The Kittyhawks, Admiral Ackbar's Dishonourable Discharge, and Sidesplitter bring the skank and shred to your ears. Rolling down from Sydney to crash the party are Trauma Cats, a snarling three-piece delivering raw, heart-on-sleeve punk in the tradition of Jawbreaker and The Descendents. They’re hitting Melbourne as part of their East Coast tour for their self-titled debut EP – a record packed with frustration, melody, and hooks that’ll stick in your head long after the amps stop buzzing.Expect skanking circles, shenanigans, and the kind of messy crossover night only The Tote can host.

Formed in 2011 by Toffer Rush, Matt Sexworth and Alex Ristovski, and following more than a few lineup changes throughout the years, Admiral Ackbar’s Dishonourable Discharge still find themselves bounding across stages in a flurry of colour and volume.
With barely a breath from the first note to the last, the ska punk pranksters are known for a hyperactive bombardment of upstrokes at a blistering pace, peppering the audience with a barrage with antics that are sure to leave you bewildered, amused or a combination of the two.
