Spacehall Sound Machine is a retro-inspired Global Groove band based in San Diego, CA. This psychedelic six-piece instrumental ensemble is the brainchild of Matt Bozzone (drummer) who has spent 10+ years touring with global groove artists, including Nigerian afrobeat masters Seun Kuti & Egypt 80. The sound is defined by its impeccable balancing act of deep dub, driving basslines, explosive rhythms from Africa & Latin America, psychedelic explorations, and Eastern melodies. Spacehall’s hypnotic grooves are designed to move bodies on the dance floor and take adventurous minds on an interstellar journey.
