Drive Thru Society Biography
Drive Thru Society is a Christian metal band from Denton, TX. Meg and Greg Hudson (vocals and guitar), Kathy Crabtree-Moore and Michael Moore (violin and guitar), and drummer Miles Ramsey bring high-octane performances to crowds all around the United States, from South Dakota's Hills Alive festival to Missouri's Nehemiah Fest.
Their sound is characterized by a unique blend of symphonic strings, endlessly-singable melodies, and heavy guitar riffs. Stylistically, they are a mix of multiple musical subgenres, including hard rock, djent, melodic metalcore, and symphonic metal.
Their single "Amnesty" (from their June 2016 debut EP Shadows Within) spent six weeks on the Billboard Christian Rock charts, followed by "Embers" (from their November 2016 sophomore EP release, Soteria), which charted for eleven weeks. Both EPs were produced by Travis Wyrick (P.O.D., Disciple). After going on hiatus, the band re-formed with violinist Kathy Crabtree-Moore and guitarist Michael Moore and wrote a full-length album, produced by Cory Brunnemann (Upon a Burning Body, Zahna), due to be released in 2025.
