Notion Biography
Notion is a multifaceted singer, songwriter and composer hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah. As a kid, Notion was inspired by household names in the rap industry such as Notorious BIG and Eminem. Movies such as “8 mile” motivated him to work on his craft, slurring phrases in a toy microphone as a child.
Notion’s career took off at the young age of 16. After releasing his debut single “Timeless” Notion was invited to tour the western United States playing with major artists. Inspired by touring, Notion’s grind hasn't stopped. Despite being born in Salt Lake, Notion owes the majority of his success to the rap scene in Seattle. Starting in 2017 Notion began collaborating with Director and filmmaker, Bennett Barbosa on music videos. In July 2019 Notion dropped his EP “Firebrand” on Apple Music.
At such a young age Notion has a long way to go and he most definitely is in the right place to do something big in the industry. According to him, “unlike most people believe, education connects with the music industry” and he hopes to go to college when he’s done with high school to learn more about music. Notion is an inspiration and a source of motivation to lots of young people out there who might have been pressured to abandon their passion, he is doing what he loves (providing entertainment to people) and you too can do it.
