Work Wife

Work Wife, a folk-rock project borne out of the pressure cooker of the New York indie scene, is the brainchild of singer-guitarist Meredith Lampe, guitarist Isaac Stalling (Renny Conti, Merce Lemon, Ramsey Thornton), Cody Edgerly (drums) and Kenny Monroe (bass). In part pop confidential á la Liz Phair, Jenny Lewis, and in part oops-i-walked-into-your-band-practice-and-hit-record, the 4-piece's debut LP "Parade" (set to release October 2025) covers diverse musical territory while exploring the record's principle question: How does it feel to be seen?

Carrying tour history with the likes of Anthony Green, Fenne Lily, Christian Lee Hudson, Husbands, and Ratboys and placements on Audiotree Live, SiriusXMU, and Bandcamp's 'New and Notable', Work Wife's 2025 will surely bring new surprises and certainly great tunes.
