Ballyhoo put on a stellar performance. I've been listening to them for over 10 years, I've even had 4 day vip tickets to reggae rise up Florida, and yet this was the first time seeing them live. My number one let down when seeing a band live that I've listened to forever... Is when you walk away feeling like they're two separate bands because studio and live sound nothing a like. This is not the case with ballyhoo. They lived up to a stellar reputation and the performance did not disappoint.
I lost my voice however screaming out the names of their older stuff that us fans became fans of. I would die 10 times over and pay an obscene amount of money to see them perform their song 'closer' live.
We'll see you in st. Petersburg. Thank you for the music
