Hayla Biography
HAYLA is a Grammy nominated, British singer and songwriter, with an extraordinarily powerful voice hailing from Formby, Liverpool, UK. Over the last couple of years HAYLA has emerged as one of the most in demand vocalists and songwriters in global dance music, featuring on a number of significant records alongside high-profile artists such as: John Summit, Sub Focus, Kygo, Ben NIcky, Kx5 (deadmau5 & Kaskade) and more.
The first ever in-game DJ for the Super Bowl 2024, Kaskade played “Escape” by Kx5 (his project with deadmau5) which features HAYLA’’s soaring vocals--while more than 130 million people around the globe tuned in. The song which HAYLA co-wrote was the lead single on Kx5’ GRAMMY-nominated LP for “Best Dance/Electronic Music Album.”
Between the popularity of “Escape” and “Where You Are”, her first collaboration with John Summit (each landing her back to back #1’s on US Dance Radio 2022 and 2023 ), her second release with John Summit “Shiver”, and her own solo releases “Fall Again” and “Embers”, there is not a nightclub, festival or dance music radio mixshow you won’t hear the vocals of HAYLA.
Coming out of Miami Music Week 2024, HAYLA garnered four awards: EDMA’s for “Dance Track of the Year” for “Where You Are” and “Dance Vocalist Of The Year,” EDM Maniac presented her with “TikTok Track of the Year” for “Where You Are” and Nexus Radio celebrated her with their “Future Of Dance” award.
2024 see’s the release of HAYLA’s collaboration with global artist Kygo on their single ‘Without You’ in May. HAYLA will be supporting Kygo on his expansive world tour with performances at iconic venues such as The Hollywood Bowl, Barclays Center and London's O2. Other forthcoming releases in 2024 include a collaboration with Meduza and her first solo album in November.
HAYLA has performed headline shows including with Kx5 at the Coliseum in LA which broke records as the largest single-day concert headlined by an electronic music artist in North America per Pollstar, with Billboard confirming the show as the biggest ticketed global headliner dance event of 2022. Other recent headline performances included: Coachella, Red Rocks, Brooklyn Mirage, Creamfields, Brixton Academy, EDC Las Vegas and throughout the UK with Pete Tong & The Essential Orchestra.
