Stephanie Schneiderman

Stephanie Schneiderman is an award-winning songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer & activist. Whether pursuing her prolific work as a solo artist (9 albums), playing drums for all-star roots act Swan Sovereign (Dirty Martini), stepping on the stage in the musical The Full Monty, organizing a wildly successful humanitarian concert series for refugees in Uganda (raising over $50k) or producing the soundtrack for 3 popular children's DVD's, Schneiderman is one of the most diversely talented artists in the NW. Starting her solo career with a coveted spot in the Lilith Fair, she received extensive NW radio play, and earned placements in many films / primetime TV shows. She went on to tour internationally & share the stage with some of the nation's top touring acts - from Aimee Mann to Hall & Oates, Marc Cohen, Sarah McLachlan and Train. Her new album, Crossfire, combines her past sonic explorations - folk, Americana & trip-hop into a beautifully dark & deeply introspective album that celebrates her maiden voyage as self-producer & is possibly her most compelling collection of songs to date. Above all her accolades as an artist, Schneiderman has a keen passion for activism and has been part of Oregon Symphony's Lullaby Project, since its inception in 2017, working with women who are experiencing homelessness to write a song for their kids. She is currently developing "You Are The Song" - an 8 week songwriting experience, leading teens in recovery from drug addiction - through the process of lyric/melody composition to create, record, perform and release an original song.
