About this concert
To celebrate the release of Jack Ladder’s 8th studio album ‘Separation Rock’ he’ll be performing two intimate shows in Sydney & Melbourne. These shows will feature a new band, new songs and the option to purchase the new album straight out his hot massive hands. Recorded in a 4 day session in Los Angeles at historic Valentine Studios with producer & bass player Zach Dawes (Lana Del Ray, T-Bone Burnett), the album features a cast of LA's heaviest hitmen – Jay Bellerose (Robert Plant, Bonnie Raitt) on drums, Nashville legend Russ Pahl (Sturgill Simpson, Kenny Rogers) on pedal steel, Tyler Parkford (Arctic Monkeys, Sparks) on Wurlitzer and ol' mate Alex Cameron bringing the BV's to the forefront with guest appearances from Sharon Van Etten & Mary Lattimore. The album was mixed by legendary engineer Tchad Blake (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello) at his Full Mongrel Studios in Wales. Ladder has waited his whole life to make this record and he can’t wait to share it with you – his one adoring fan. Tickets on sale now

Jack Ladder Biography
With nearly twenty years of skin in the game Jack Ladder has built and destroyed his own world several times over leaving only his seductive baritone as a bridge to navigate between.
Faking his way as a folk singer on his 2005 debut, Ladder reveals himself in 2025 as a true connoisseur of all noises from neoclassical to new wave, country and techno pop.
Seen onstage playing in the bands of Bill Callahan and Weyes Blood he has been requested as opening act by Angel Olsen, Father John Misty, John Cale and The Killers - twice - to open their stadium sized celebrations. Sharon Van Etten has even sung on his songs.
Spearheading a certain kind of movement that gave rise to his backing band ’The Dreamlanders’ he has been a back-room facilitator to street hustlers and playboys - Kirin J Callinan, Alex Cameron and Donny Benèt – collaborating on both their music and artwork.
He frequently tours internationally & has released his albums through labels who know a real one when they see it like Fat Possum, Terrible & Spunk Records.
