Freakout Festival 2025

Hudson Powder Company is a Boise-based indie/Rock/Americana band. The band formed in the summer of 2023 when lead singer Cooper Lowry moved home to Boise and wanted to start a band. He recruited Alexis Galvan (drums), Ricky Jones (bass), and Doug Rudeen (guitar) to back him up. While Hudson Powder Company was originally conceived as a country act, the band has evolved into something more than that - our attempt to create a kind of musical “landscape painting” of the Inland Northwest.

Debut Album releasing April 30th, 2025 titled "Crest of Orange". We have released a handful of singles on the past year, along with a live EP recorded at the "Egyptian Theatre" in Boise, ID. Just finished our second Treefort Music Fest and we are planned to do plenty of shows this summer around the inland North West. We have opened up for a ton of bands that have come through Boise, some of those being "Mo Lowda & the Humble", "Boot Juice", "The Takes".
