MAIRIE DE COULOMMIERS PRÉSENTE : HARLEM GOSPEL CHOIRFondée en 1986 par Allen Bailey, la célèbre chorale gospel de Harlem présente des classiques du gospel moderne tels qu’ils sont interprétés aujourd’hui dans les églises noires de Harlem. Ils sont apparus avec des superstars comme Bono et Diana Ross, et aux Grammy Awards Show 2018 avec Sam Smith. Ils ont également joué pour la royauté, trois présidents et deux papes. Cette année, la chorale a une résidence dominicale au célèbre club de jazz Blue Note dans le West Village à Manhattan. Ils seront en tournée en Europe en novembre et en décembre pour la tournée « Magic of Motown », mettant en vedette la musique de Marvin Gaye, des Suprêmes et de Stevie Wonder. Harlem Gospel Choir Biography
The Harlem Gospel Choir was founded in 1986 by Allen Bailey. It tours the world, bringing people and nations together, and giving something back.
The choir have performed alongside superstars such as Bono, Diana Ross, The Gorillaz, Andre Rieu, Damon Albarn, Pharrell Williams, JamieXX, Sia, Sam Smith, The 1975, and American Authors. They have performed for three Presidents (President Obama, President Carter and President Nelson Mandela), two Popes (Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI) and have recorded with many artists including Keith Richards, The Chieftains, and Trace Adkins.
In 2018 the choir performed with Sam Smith at the Grammy’s, and have also performed during Macys Thanks Giving Day Parade, Macys Fourth of July Spectacular, and at the NBC Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Rockefeller Center with Jordan Smith, Pentatonix, and Ne-Yo
