BIG show on 10/25 in NYC! JEM Celebrates with many label artists on the bill: The Weeklings, Richard Barone, The Midnight Callers, The Cynz and The Grip Weeds. On top of that, we're backing the legendary Paul Collins (The Beat) too! JEM Celebrates is an ongoing series of releases 'celebrating' the icons of Rock– the latest is David Bowie; John Lennon, Brian Wilson, Pete Townshend, Ray Davies and Jagger Richards were previously saluted and will also be honored at the show on October 25th. Doors 5:30pm, show 6:30 pm.

“Sparkling, insanely catchy psyche-pop”: The Grip Weeds are a critically acclaimed Psychedelic Rock /Power Pop quartet consisting of brothers Kurt and Rick Reil (on drums and guitar respectively), Kristin Pinell (guitar) and Dave DeSantis (bass). Surrounded by their vintage equipment, this talented four-piece band records slices of perfect, radio-friendly guitar-pop, psychedelic enough to appeal to record junkies and Sixties-retro fans, but edgy enough to fit into a modern rock set.
