Wiped Out

Wiped Out, based in New York City, is an instrumental surf band led by guitarist Clark Starace. Drawing inspiration from iconic surf acts of the 1960's such as Dick Dale, The Astronauts and The Challengers. Wiped Out infuses their music with the gritty energy synonymous with New York's punk scene, inspired by bands like the Ramones and The Cramps.

Performing as a trio with Andrew Bisdale on bass and Josh Metcalf on drums, Wiped Out has become a fixture on the NYC club circuit, sharing stages with renowned surf acts like Messer Chups, The Surfrajettes, Surfer Joe, Los Tiki Phantoms and The Coffin Daggers and at iconic venues across the city.
