Asteroid B-612

The seminal Sydney underground rock´n´roll band ASTEROID B612 will light up the sky once again in November to present their new album ´roads, stars´.Asteroid B612 came hurtling outta Sydney´s northern beaches in the early 90´s and seemed to be flashing through the night everywhere in the 90´s recording 5 albums and playing endless tours throughout Australia and a month long ´eventful´ American tour during Oct/Nov 1996 until the band came to a grounding halt in 2002. The core of the band, northern beaches school yard buddies Johnny Spittles AKA Johnny Casino, Grant McIver and Benny Fox were brought up on a musical diet of heartfelt, soulful, blazing rock´n´roll and the band left no stone unturned with wild concerts in venues throughout Australia and North America.In 2022 they reunited for 8 concerts in 10 days thru Spain and this is where the idea of recording new  music was hatched, and now after a more than 25 year recording hiatus they flash back with a new album ´roads, stars´  recorded part in Sydney and part in Spain (where Johnny has lived for more than 10 years)Many a story has been told or fabled about this great Australian Rock´n´roll band and ´now is the time´ to catch them again OR see them for the first time.
