About this concert
Hardline Media are proud to announce, direct from the USA, one of the world's leading Deathcore bands OCEANO on their “Depths Down Under” Tour. With a special Australian only farewell set exclusively performing songs from albums ‘Depths’ + ‘Contagion’. Not only do you get to hear these albums, but the band lineup will also be featuring members from the Depths & Contagion Era. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see this live across 4 shows, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne in October 2025.Oceano are an American Deathcore band from Cook County, Illinois. Formed in 2006, the band signed to legendary UK Death Metal label, Earache Records, home of such legendary bands as NAPALM DEATH, MORBID ANGEL, CARCASS and many more. They released their debut album, Depths, on April 7, 2009. Their second album, Contagion, was released on November 9, 2010, with both these albums hitting the top 20 in the US heatseeker charts, with Contagion reaching number 3. The band went on to have a very successful career in the Underground with albums like "Incisions" and "Ascendants", with their final bow being 2024's "Living Chaos", it's time for the band to move on with other projects, and say goodbye, and your last chance to see them live.Watch Oceano - A Mandatory Sacrifice - from the album Depthswww.youtube.com/watch?v=Ik3Qte0s5XU&listWatch Oceano - Weaponized - from Contagionwww.youtube.com/watch?v=Mlsdx_IDhwQOCEANO will absolutely crush these Australian shows. Shout-out to Oceano for being Deathcore Legends for so long. A proper NYC farewell to Oceano from New York. I'll start with the mini OGs, PRDGMS. Their set was awesome. Last time I saw them besides this show was back in The Place and The Kingsland days. Good times. Check them out. Next, CRUCIFICTION. First time seeing them. Just recognized Salem from the Metalcore band, Bloodbather. So, I was super hyped. And more hyped when they played. Their set was dope as I thought it would be. Next, LARCENIA ROE. First time seeing them as well. Their Deathcore vibes are the definition of "BROOTAL" and other memes like that -insert laughs here- because their songs were back to back brutal Hardcore Dancing and CrowdKilling vibes. Loved it. Their set was sick. Hardcore Bucket List accomplished with I Declare War finally. After, missing them since the early 2010s, I finally got a chance to see the other Deathcore Legends. Their set was sooooo sick and what I needed. Just hate that The Meadows has a smoke machine while people are trying to Hardcore Dance/Mosh. And last but not least, Oceano did their thing and left us with a sick, violent, and nostalgic set. They're saying farewell, but they won't be gone. As always, Be sure to support the bands and the venue as well. Leave your comments. Share it around. Do your own Reviews as well.

Oceano Biography

Oceano’s ability to encode such transmission within the framework of tight, taught, and technical heavy music remains a key to their success since 2006. Over the years, the group has ignited a diehard fan base. Picking up where critically acclaimed 2015’s 'Ascendants' and 2017’s 'Revelation' left off, the band expands their patented deathcore punch with brutal heaviness and moments of unrelenting technicality and precision in their newest single, “Mass Produced”. Oceano utilizes thought-provoking lyricism that continues to elevate them within the landscape of heavy music, a key to their success over the past decade.
