Man Must Explore

Man Must Explore is an Albany-born alt-rock band described by Click Roll Boom as “undeniably captivating, seamlessly blending dark and dreamy elements” into an “immersive and authentic narrative.” Their 2024 release The Greatest Story I’ll Never Read gained international attention and set the stage for a national run, including the twelve-show Greatest Story Tour from Boston to Richmond. Along the way, MME has toured the country, earning a reputation for explosive live performances and building a dedicated community around their sound and message.
That community has grown into The Explorer’s Guild — a movement that extends the band’s philosophy of exploration into real-world action. Through Helping the Homeless (benefit concerts, kit drives, and rescue mission volunteerism), Cancer Care (meals, rides, and chemo kits in partnership with the American Cancer Society, raising thousands for Leukemia and Lymphoma patients), and Amplified Pride (uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices through events and fundraisers), MME is showing that music and service can move in harmony. Fans are invited to join the Guild on Discord and take part in building something bigger together.
Now, with the release of their debut album Rise on November 1st — the same night they launch their Rise Tour — Man Must Explore is stepping fully into their identity as both a band and a movement.
