The Breaklights

We are a band out of Louisville, Kentucky. We play a blend of punk, rock, alt-country, blues, bluegrass, and more. The vast majority of our music is original tunes, although we regularly will pay homage and rework some of our favorite tunes we’ve loved through the years, giving them the signature Breaklights sound.

The band is comprised of quality experienced musicians, with diverse backgrounds. This unique mix of interests is the foundation of The Breaklights sound. The Breaklights have a way of sounding completely original, yet like something you have heard 100’s of times before.

The Breaklights signature sound has been compared to bands such as The Old 97’s, Tom Petty, Green Day, Social Distortion, Turnpike Troubadours, and more.
