Taraneh Biography
"Taraneh," translating to 'melody' or 'song' in Farsi, is the project of NYC-based Iranian-American musician and researcher Taraneh Azar. Taraneh's work is defined by emotional melodies and vulnerable lyrics as well as cinematic and intimate live performances.
Azar often performs solo with only a guitar and laptop on stage but is occasionally joined by bassist James Duncan.
