Black Steam

BLACK STEAM is a heavy metal band from Linköping, Sweden, known for their hard-hitting sound and high-energy live performances. Inspired by legends like Judas Priest, Metallica, Ghost, and Sabaton, they have carved out a unique style — powerful, melodic, and packed with unforgettable choruses.

Formed in 2017 by vocalist Stefan Borg, the band quickly grew into a solid lineup that has evolved over the years. Their music blends classic heavy metal roots with modern intensity, often infused with dark undertones and lyrical themes drawn from Stefan’s military background as a helicopter pilot and flight instructor.

After several successful singles and an acclaimed debut EP, BLACK STEAM released their first full-length album, Come To My Darkness, in 2022. The album was preceded by four powerful singles that gained attention in the metal community. Following the album release, the band played several notable shows, including Gravefest and PowWow Festival in Stockholm, and supported acts like Bullet, Mister Misery, Battering Ram, and Black Ingvars.

Currently, BLACK STEAM is writing new material for their highly anticipated second album, set for release in the spring of 2026.
