About this concert
The Town Hall and The Sinfonietta will present Disney and Pixars Coco in Concert Live to Film featuring the films musical score by Oscar and GRAMMY winning composer Michael Giacchino performed live along to the film. The concert will be led by conductor Macy Schmidt. Coco tells the story of Miguel a young boy who dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz despite his familys baffling generations old ban on music. Following a mysterious chain of events and desperate to prove his talent Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. Along the way he meets a charming trickster named Hector and together they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguels family history. The presentation is licensed by Disney Concerts.

Flor de Toloache Biography
Latin Grammy-winning, all-female group, Flor de Toloache has won the hearts of both progressive and traditional mariachi music fans with their distinct artistic vision and sophisticated, enlightened interpretation of traditional mariachi instruments. Their diverse ethnicities and musical backgrounds transcend culture and gender by forging new paths. The group has graced international stages from Mexico to Japan and has extensively toured the USA and Latin America.
Flor de Toloache's latest bilingual album, “Indestructible”, pushes the boundaries of mariachi music and its instrumentation through re-imagined pop covers, originals and new collaborations with artists such as John Legend (singing in español!), Alex Cuba, Cultura Profética and R&B singer Miguel.
