About this concert
Sea Fever is a five-piece collective featuring Tom Chapman and Phil Cunningham (New Order) Iwan Gronow (Haven, Johnny Marr) Beth Cassidy (Section 25) and Elliot Barlow (Brix & The Extricated) brings a wealth of experience to their powerful and dynamic sound. Having recently signed to Stockport-based indie label Cosmic Glue the band is gearing up for a year of new releases and live performances solidifying their reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting genre-blurring acts. Their 2021 debut album Folding Lines earned early support from BBC 6 Music’s Chris Hawkins and others. Now in 2025 Sea Fever return with a renewed sense of purpose pushing their sound further into synth-driven technicolour soundscapes. With deep electronic textures binary beats and glowing neon sparks of melody their latest music, led by the singles Loose Cut and Breaking Out, captures a band evolving while remaining true to their roots.

Sea Fever Biography
We're Sea Fever - a five-piece collective from Manchester. We're fronted by Iwan Gronow (Haven, Johnny Marr) on vocals and guitars, alongside singer Bethany Cassidy (Section 25). We've also got New Order's Tom Chapman and Phil Cunningham - with Tom on bass, guitars, synths and programming and Phil on guitars. Powering the band’s pulsing beats is Elliot Barlow, who is joined on the band’s debut by New Order’s drummer Stephen Morris.
Fusing intelligent electronics and clanging guitars, underpinned by soaring and hypnotic strings, the band has already picked up early support on BBC 6 Music.
Our debut album Folding Lines is out on 22nd October. Hope to see you at show soon!
