.F.O.A.D.

.F.O.A.D. is a Metal band from Lyon, France. Its « Death Thrash Stoner Hard Motherfuckin’ Core Metal » speaks for itself. The band was founded in January 2009 by Lionel (vox) and Nicolas “Sran” (bass). Julien “PoLoDaVa” on drums joined forces soon after. Then, Clément “CoNoRiO” and Christophe “Kriss” brought their guitars. .F.O.A.D. worked on original materials and proposed a Metal with a mix of influences. During 2009 the band played in and around Lyon, with such bands as STONEBURST, OIL CARTER, ACOD, BIBLE OF THE DEVIL (from USA), SOLENOÏD (from Belgium) or BACKSTROKE (from Reunion Island). The first demo « FUCK OFF AND DIE » was only available on myspace at the beginning of the year. The song « Deadman’s Walk » became an inescapable anthem. A second demo was recorded in june. « REMORSE… IS FOR THE DEAD » was available on myspace in september. The end of 2010 saw the band crossing the Atlantic Ocean to play Cuba. The BRUTAL FEST TOUR was unforgatable, and .F.O.A.D. became the first French metal band to play on the island. The demo is edited as a free .E.P. (november the 21st, 2011), and .F.O.A.D. took the road again and toured the south of France (Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Grenoble, …). After having given more than 1000 E.P., the band began the recording of its debut album called « THE BRINGER OF DEATH ». Mixed by CoNoRio and mastered by Alan DOUCHES, from WWMS (Mastodon, Motörhead, Kvelertak…). It has been released on March 31st 2014, M&O Music. Since march 2015 Ajunta A is the new drummer of .F.O.A.D..
