Adam Zuniga Biography
Adam Zuniga is a Texas-based guitarist that readers of the San Antonio Current voted Best Instrumentalist (runner-up), two years in a row in their annual Best of San Antonio Music issues.
Adam’s latest guitar album, Nightfall, demonstrates a diverse production approach and represents years of tone exploration with both nylon-string and electric guitars. The result is an immersive listening experience that is, at times, beat-driven and awash with effects-laden instrumentation. Although not associated with any one genre, the guitar’s reverb-drenched harmonics and vocalesque melodies can be heard over neighboring (and not so neighboring) styles such as chill, lo-fi, post-rock and ambient music.
His musical history includes performing in tribute acts, as a session musician, and with bands within the Austin music scene such as Dream II Dream, Hours Quiet, and Love Hate Affair. Since 2006, Adam has continued to provide his brand of instrumental music to a broad spectrum of audiences, including corporate events, art exhibits, and restaurant and hotel residencies. At present, you can hear Adam performing each week at Embassy Landmark in San Antonio, Texas.
