TWAN

Antonio Marra, known as TWAN, is a multi-talented Italian-born artist, producer, composer, pianist, and DJ based in London. Recognised for his pioneering productions, TWAN is a prominent emerging figure in the electronic dance music landscape. His single "Carry On" secured first place at the prestigious Amsterdam Dance Event's Demolition XXVI, gaining the resounding approval of an esteemed panel of artists, including Joseph Capriati, Kölsch, and Dave Clarke. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant electronic scene in London, TWAN has shaped his sound through exposure to different cultures and the city's buzzing nightlife. The leading electronic music platform, Beatport, celebrated his production style for "crossing bridges of electronic music", while Only Techno defined him as a "sound visionary". One of his standout works, "Entropia", has received critical acclaim from the electronic music community, with Electronic Groove describing it as "masterfully crafted" and guaranteed to have "electronic aficionados hooked". His compositions have been featured on the soundtracks of over a dozen films and Netflix series, exemplified by his energising production "Something Stronger", showcased in the Swiss TV series "Neumatt". He also frequently works on original music for commercials and fashion brands, such as for Hinnominate by Belen Rodriguez. TWAN's academic achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Music Production from the University of East London and a Master's degree in Composition for Screen from Kingston University.
