Every Man Is An Island

One of the most recent metal "mutations" has created a truly new music wave. "Metalcore" and "deathcore", as they are called by some, have revealed numerous bands and fans worldwide. It is a mixture of heavy metal, with aggressive lyrics and hardcore vocals, and, in general, with rock melody. The United States and Sweden are pioneers in revealing big names of this music style, but Brazil does not stay far behind. The style has been well represented in the country, and Every Man is an Island has come to prove it! By merging influences from within metal and hardcore rhythms – which are much admired by the band – EMII proposes to innovate "Our influences range from Metallica and Angra to Bring Me the Horizon, Underoath, and The Devil Wears Prada. However, regardless of style, we always admire well done work" explains Dih, vocalist of the band. And that is exactly what we can realize while listening to EMII's compositions.
