The Robin Scherpen Collective is a band that emerged from the beauty that lies in a lifelong ‘musical identity crisis’ in which the freedom of searching proves to be more important than finding.

Guitarist/composer Robin Scherpen moves effortlessly in various musical worlds, but always with the pleasure of never really feeling at home anywhere. With this band that bears his name, he brings music that breaks down the barriers between genres and labels.

The band imagines a world in which music does not serve as wallpaper or as a demonstration of virtuosity or complexity, but as a tool to share the deepest thoughts and feelings without words. As soon as the sounds sound, the differences fade away. Status, class and labels disappear and what remains is music that moves, breathes and offers comfort.

The shows of the Robin Scherpen Collective are more than concerts; they are experiences.
