SOURCE PRODUCTION & HAMDANISTAN PRESENTENT : YASMINE HAMDAN Yasmine Hamdan s’est d’abord imposée sur la scène musicale avec le duo indie électronique pionnier de Beyrouth Soapkills, qu’elle a cofondé avec Zeid Hamdan à la fin des années 90.Après avoir déménagé à Paris en 2005, Yasmine a collaboré avec le producteur de Madonna, Mirwais, pour le projet Y.A.S., sortant l’album Arabology au son club sophistiqué chez Universal en 2009.Depuis, elle a acquis une reconnaissance internationale en tant qu’auteure-compositrice-interprète et productrice solo, entremêlant avec élégance des éléments variés allant des racines panarabes et de la pop aux textes poétiques, en passant par l’électronica, la soul et des mélodies à la guitare.Yasmine a collaboré avec des cinéastes tels qu’Elia Suleiman et Jim Jarmusch, et a tourné dans le monde entier pour présenter ses albums Ya Nass (2013) et Al Jamilat (2017).Son troisième album solo doit paraître dans le monde entier en septembre 2025 chez Crammed Discs/ [PIAS].

Yasmine Hamdan Biography
Yasmine Hamdan first made waves in the music scene with the pioneering Beirut indie electronic duo Soapkills, which she co-founded with Zeid Hamdan in the late 1990s.
Having moved to Paris in 2005, Yasmine collaborated with Madonna producer Mirwais for the Y.A.S. project, releasing the sleek clubby Arabology album on Universal in 2009.
Since then, she has earned international acclaim as a solo singer-songwriter and producer, elegantly entwining far-ranging elements, from pan-Arabic roots and pop and poetic lyrics, to electronica, soul and guitar melodies. Yasmine has collaborated with filmmakers such as Elia Suleiman, Jim Jarmusch, and has toured globally in support of her albums Ya Nass (2013) and Al Jamilat (2017).
Her upcoming third solo album, I Remember I Forget, which she produced in Paris alongside Marc Collin (Nouvelle Vague), is scheduled for worldwide release in September 2026 on Crammed Discs/ [PIAS].
