Joshua Thomas

Joshua Thomas is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. His debut LP, "The Wings Outside" was released in October 2024. Produced by Karin Bergquist and Linford Detweiler of Over the Rhine and engineered by Grammy Award-winner Ryan Freeland, the album showcases Thomas's distinctive, commanding sound. Recorded over 3 days in a barn an hour east of Cincinnati, the record features players like Jay Bellerose, Meg Duffy, Jennifer Condos, Patrick Warren, and Eric Heywood.

Thomas has toured extensively, supporting artists like Adrianne Lenker, Twain, Buck Meek, Lucy Wainwright Roche, and Over the Rhine. His work has been compared to that of John Grant, Anohni, and Rufus Wainwright. He is based in Los Angeles.
