Out-of-time young Austinite Bee Blackwell re-creates the rumble and jangle of Nineties alt-rock with the studied perfection of an artist who grew up with the MTV generation, not the TikTok generation. The singer – who has nearly 60,000 followers on that music-loving app – crafts sunny, radio-ready singles and fuzzy, introspective numbers in equal measure.
