Eímear Noone and Nashville Symphony present Gamesymphonic, live at Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Magical worlds, post-apocalyptic wastelands, Godly labyrinths, and the home of your favorite Disney characters. You can visit them all and more through the gift of gaming. Delve into many of these epic landscapes with the awe-inspiring scores from some of the biggest games ever. The concert will feature Nashville Symphony performing music set to video projections of some of the biggest games on the planet:The Legend of Zelda, Halo, The last of us, Fortnite, Fallout, StarCraft, World of Warcraft Award-winning video game music conductor and composer, Eímear Noone will present some of the most iconic music from the world’s best-loved video game soundtracks. As one of the few female conductors and composers in the world of gaming and film, Eímear is responsible for composing some of the most enduring soundscapes on World of Warcraft and other best-selling games, some of which are included in the program. Eimear has also recorded the soundtracks for Diablo III, StarCraft II, Overwatch and has conducted and recorded for Nintendo Touring and The Legend of Zelda franchise.

Nashville Symphony Biography

Led by music director Giancarlo Guerrero, the Nashville Symphony has been an integral part of the Music City sound since 1946. In a typical year, the ensemble performs more than 150 concerts annually, with a focus on contemporary American orchestral music through collaborations with composers including Jennifer Higdon, Terry Riley, Joan Tower and Aaron Jay Kernis. The orchestra is equally renowned for its commissioning and recording projects with Nashville-based artists including bassist Edgar Meyer, banjoist Béla Fleck, singer-songwriter Ben Folds and electric bassist Victor Wooten.
