Quintessential indie folk-rock outfit The Paper Kites have announced a fall North America tour that will launch in September with special guest Rosie Carney. The tour kicks off in Toronto and includes stops in Brooklyn, Nashville, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Seattle before finishing in Los Angeles. See the full list of dates below.
From their first EP, Woodland, The Paper Kites (lead vocalist Sam Bentley, vocalist Christina Lacy, guitarist Dave Powys, drummer Josh Bentley, and bassist Sam Rasmussen) have found a loyal audience for their sound, which spans five albums, including last year's Roses LP. Over a decade later, along with their platinum certifications in Australia, U.S., Canada, and The Netherlands, the band has also received gold certifications in Italy and New Zealand for their single "Bloom," as well as 500k followers and 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

The Botnique is a very nice venue for sure in downtown Brussels. The music evening concerts started with the artist Benni and her band and it was a total discovery for me and I liked her songs and music. Followed by one of my favorite singer songwriter William Fitzsimmons. I did feel sorry for him and his fellow guitarist touring with him (2 men band) as there was so much surrounding noises in the chapiteau during their live performances, many people were more focusing on talking to each others than listening to the artists on stage that it was almost impossible to really hear his live acoustic music and songs. I would have been him, I would have left the stage instead of going on with his live set. It was really a shame from the people in and around the chapiteau. Many people did not respect the artist on stage. The final act of the evening was great in the company of the Paper Kites band. I have been really hooked with their music since I dicovered them few years ago. And they gave a really great live gig perforances and I really enjoyed it big time. Their acoustic accapella version of "bloom" was magic.

The Paper Kites are a folk-rock five-piece from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 2010, members include Sam Bentley, Christina Lacy, David Powys, Samuel Rasmussen and Josh Bentley.
