About this concert
Running Times: Doors Open: 7:00PM The Honey Sliders are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the songs from 1975. It was the year Bruce Springsteen broke out with his first hit ‘Born to Run’, Led Zeppelin released their opus Physical Graffiti (featuring the epic ‘Kashmir’), David Bowie reinvented himself with ‘Golden Years’, ‘Fame’, and ‘Young Americans’, Fleetwood Mac topped the charts with “Rhiannon’, Bob Dylan hit top gear with arguably his best album ‘Blood on the Tracks’, Neil Young released two albums ‘Tonight’s the Night’, and ‘Zuma’, Willie Nelson had a number one hit with ‘Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain’, John Lennon recorded a timeless version of ‘Stand By Me’, and the list goes on... The Honey Sliders will play all of these songs plus many more, live on stage, in a night to remember.

The Honey Sliders Biography
The Honey Sliders are a retro inspired groove / boogie group from the sub tropical boom town called Brisbane. They’re best known for making people shake it down and feel good, all around the south eastern corner of Queensland and northern New South Wales.
2023 is the tenth year in a row The Honey Sliders have payed homage to their favourite albums live on stage. They’ve given respectful and skilful renditions of Hendrix, The Stones, The Band, The Beatles, Cream, Easy Rider Soundtrack, and most recently, Neil Young’s classic album ‘Harvest’. These shows have become a ‘must see’ on the calendar of music fans due to the high level of musicianship and stage craft.
In 2013, the multi award winning, and 3x ARIA award nominated songwriter and session guitarist Danny Widdicombe invited his mates Dan Mansfield (Keys, guitar) and Ben Carstens (drums) to join him on a musical adventure. Along the way, they picked up musical hitchhiker Bos Borley, and became the band they are today, selling out theatres and playing their hearts out to music fans.
