No messing around for this one. For Lava 007, we’re bringing in two of the most exciting and trusted selectors from Mexico City and London for our biggest party yet at Earthly Delights on June 6. Loris, the Palestinian-Mexican producer and DJ, joins us from Mexico City with her signature blend of Latin bass pressure and Arabic rhythms. Named one of Mixmag’s breakthrough DJs of 2024, she’s built a global reputation for tightly constructed, percussive sets that cut across genre and tempo. This is a rare chance to experience one of the few Palestinian artists shaping Latin America’s club landscape. We then welcome Otik from London for his long-anticipated NYC debut. With a breakout LP on 3024 that landed on Mixmag’s Best Albums of 2024 list along with recent releases on Aus Music and Steel City Dance Disc, he has become synonymous for blurring the lines between emotional bass music, dreamlike atmospheres, and weighty techno. Along with being an incredibly prolific producer, the Rinse FM resident and Solar Body label head has also played standout DJ sets at Glastonbury, Four Tet’s All Dayer, and Magnetic Fields. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for the Lava faithful. Next, we have one of NYC’s brightest up-and-coming talents and most versatile selectors, BATTYGYAL, who’s as comfortable playing ethereal ambient sets as she is shelling UK bass-infused club workouts. With recent appearances at some of NYC’s most beloved parties, including Papi Juice and Body Hack, we’re lucky to have her guide the night’s early flow before Loris and Otik take over the Earthly Delights soundsystem. Lastly, we have Lava boss 99 ranch on opening duties ready to provide subterranean bass explorations straight from the magma chamber. DJs Against Apartheid will be joining us to mark this special occasion and sell Palestine Forever merch to raise funds for two families in Gaza.
