From the release of their debut album, “Demon Blues”, in 2015, Datura4, fronted by Stems main man Dom Mariani, have been on a supercharged, non-stop rock-n-roll mission of full-tilt boogie riffs, pounding drum grooves and freaked-out fuzz over the course of follow-up releases “Hairy Mountain” (2016), "Blessed is the Boogie" (2019), "West Coast Highway Cosmic" (2020) and Neanderthal Jam (2023) released through USA label Alive Naturalsound Records. DATURA4 also features Warren Hall (ex The Drones) on drums, Stu Loasby from The Majestic Kelp on bass, Joe Grech on guitar and vocals and legendary West Australian keyboard wizard, the voodoo summoning Bob Patient.Receiving kudos from the likes of Alice Cooper and Steve Van Zandt, as well as rave reviews from publications Rolling Stone, Shindig! and Classic Rock, DATURA4 have solidified their place on the local and overseas stages, having completed two extensive European tours of October 2019 and October 2023 sharing stages with the likes of The Pretty Things, ZZ Top, Kevin Borich, Tumbleweed, Hoodoo Gurus, The Cruel Sea, The Godfathers and Little Steven’s Disciples of Soul.Currently working on their 6th album for an early 2026 release, they return to their early stomping ground of Fremantle to play Clancy’s Fish Pub Fremantle Friday, July 4, with the one-two-three punch line-up featuring Art of Dysfunction and the Death ‘til Late Club.

Datura4 Biography
Originating in 2009 out of the port city of Fremantle, Western Australia, regarded as one of the most isolated cities in the world, DATURA4 can be best described as a ballsy return to full-tilt boogie and blues with their own original spin on things. They have recorded and released four impressive albums ‘Demon Blues’ (2015), Hairy Mountain (2016), Blessed is the Boogie (2019) and West Coast Highway Cosmic (2020) and to define the DATURA4 sound. Released on US label AliveNatural Records all four albums were received enthusiastically by fans and the music press alike. Since their inception DATURA4 have established an impressive live reputation touring Europe in 2019. They have also had the honour of opening up for the legendary ZZ Top, Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul, The Pretty Things, The Hoodoo Gurus New Zealand guitar legend Kevin Borich, Endless Boogie, Tumbleweed, X and You Am I.
