Maur Biography

Tipped as One’s To Watch in 2022 by Radio 1’s Dance team Danny Howard, Sarah Story and
Pete Tong, Maur continues to gather the attention and respect from the leading industry
heavyweights.

Dan Clare and Dylan May, both respected DJs before the Maur project, joined forces to
create the vibrant sounds they are notorious for playing out. With a string of high-energy,
melodic hits in 2020 for labels such as ViVA, W&O Street Tracks, and CR2, their breakthrough
track ‘Set You Free,’ released via Sola, propelled them to the number one spot on Beatport
for four weeks and became one of the best selling tracks on Beatport in 2020.

Maur kicked off 2021 by being hailed as one of Tomorrowland’s artists to watch in 2021. Two
more releases followed this up on Sola ‘Can’t Get Enough EP’ and ‘Deep Inside’, which saw
heavy Radio 1 support from Pete Tong, Annie Mac, and Danny Howard and became the
cover of Spotify’s UK House Music. Maur teamed up with Solardo for their third release of
2021 to create the summer anthem ‘Power’ which has amassed millions of streams on
Spotify and received strong and continued radio support spanning day and night across the
world.

With Maur gathering momentum at a booming pace, 2022 is set to be their biggest year yet
with massive releases due out on Sola and other respected record labels, as well as a busy
touring schedule building, including their debut at Tomorrowland Festival. 2022 will be the
year that Maur begins to cement their place within the dance music world.
