Trivecta Biography
Sam Dobkin, better known as Trivecta, is a fan favorite dance music producer and DJ from Tampa, Florida who wins the hearts of those who enter his world. In a saturated marketplace, he’s been able to craft a unique lane within the dance, bass and melodic scenes that allow him to propel his project higher and land him on bigger festival stages and venues each year.
Blending together a uniquely identifiable “folk bass” sound that lies in between melodic dubstep, trance, bass and folk, he’s consistently delivered massive collaborations with genre leaders like Seven Lions, Slander, Excision, Wooli, Kill The Noise, Jason Ross and Scott Stapp from Creed. Trivecta’s captivating live guitar performances continue to set him apart from his peers and accompanied an enormous debut headline tour in 2022-23 and his first international festivals in Thailand and China.
In addition to having some of the larger artists in the scene like Excision, Illenium, Gryffin, The Chainsmokers and Don Diablo play out his tracks, he’s joined melodic bass connoisseurs such as Illenium, Seven Lions, Dabin, Kill The Noise, and Wooli on tour and landed official remixes with them. His streaming profile includes the Billboard charting Seven Lions collab “Island” with over 40M streams, his Excision collab “Oxygen” with over 20M streams, a new track with dance titans Slander with over 3M streams in two months and a cover for Spotify’s Bass Lounge playlist.
Since his debut 2022 album ‘The Way Back Up’, Trivecta has been relentlessly active in the live circuit. He was direct support to Illenium for his massive SoFi Stadium show, had his debut performance at Ultra Miami and played some of the biggest venues in the country including Red Rocks, The Gorge, Echostage and the LA Convention Center. He’ll be playing Creamfields Chengdu, World DJ Festival in South Korea, Beyond Wonderland Chicago, Lost In Dreams Festival IleSoniq in Montreal, Breakaway Music Festival all this summer.
Paving a unique lane for himself in multiple genres of dance music, Trivecta shows no signs of slowing down, with 2024 set to be his biggest year yet.
