Ha Vay was gorgeous performing. Her singing live was just like the recording, in fact it sounded even better. Fantastic stage presence, and charisma. A very unique and fascinating persona. The guitarist and drummer were fantastic as well, with great energy. Toronto can be a bit shy(antisocial), or quiet, but I hope they enjoyed their time with us, and come back again sometime soon. This performance was my favourite that evening. The huntress was my favourite song, with moongirl second. I also really liked the song about the gold thread. All in all, absolutely lovely.

Ha Vay is a San Francisco-based artist romanticizing her life to cinematic proportions. Crafting a genre she calls “ethereal indie sleaze”, she strives to glamorize mundane experiences: transforming everyday occurrences into a dreamscape of velvety corners of parties and dramatic one-night-tales. Peppered with a hearty dose of feminine rage and a playful sense of humor, Ha Vay strives to create a movie soundtrack to the everyday lives of her listeners.
