Side Brok Biography
Side Brok is a humorous rap group from Ørsta, Norway. Rumours state that the band made their debut in 1999 as support for a Polish stripper who visited Ørsta (this is probably just rumours) and their debut EP, Side Brok, was released in 2002.
The band was awarded "Årets Urørt" (Norwegian music award given to Norway's most up-and-coming artists) in 2004 and have relesed two full length albums. The bandname, Side Brok, is a Norwegian dialect word for "sagging pants" and the members of Side Brok are Sjef R, his alter ego Thorstein Hyl III, Skatebård, Tore B, Odd G and Tunk.
