After a long, hot summer holed up in a Perth studio (third time lucky), Karnivool have emerged with something big - and now it's time to road test it. Five months in the making, the band are itching to hit the stage and air out the new material – so they’re taking their monstrous live show across the country in July.Catch them on the Ad Complementum tour and be the first to hear the fruits of their labour before they head off to headline ArcTanGent in Europe. Karnivool Biography
KARNIVOOL, one of the most original forces in modern progressive music, hail from Perth, Western Australia. The band’s line up settled in 2004 with Jon Stockman on bass, Ian Kenny on vocals, Steve Judd on drums and Drew Goddard & Mark Hosking on guitars.
The band’s 2005 debut album ‘THEMATA’ introduced them to the rest of Australia, their 2009 second ‘SOUND AWAKE’ introduced them to the world. The third, the Australian #1 album ‘ASYMMETRY’ (2013) established their vast soundscapes, complex rhythms and emotive melodies.
All of Karnivool’s releases have reached gold or platinum status. They are currently working on their hugely anticipated, frequently delayed, as yet untitled fourth album.
