Jerry is always amazing. This show was even heavier on solo material than the Brighten tour, which was fine by me. The new songs are locked in after only a few shows and the AIC songs sprinkled in sound great too. Hate to Feel was a nice tribute to his friend Layne. We also got an impromptu Aerosmith jam. I’m ashamed I didn’t recognize the song but it was a cool Boston moment!
Love the band he’s put together (all fantastic players) but really missed the pedal steel that he brought last time (sorry, nit picking).
Go see Jerry and check out his latest solo albums! He’s one of the best rock songwriters of his generation IMO.

Jerry Cantrell (born Jerry Fulton Cantrell, March 18, 1966, Tacoma, Washington) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as a founding member in the grunge band Alice in Chains. Cantrell has also released fourth solo albums: Boggy Depot (1998), Degradation Trip, Volumes 1&2 (2002), Brighten (2021), and I Want Blood (2024).
