Briticana is a startup music-production and publishing collective. This showcase presents 5 unique artists. The music is an accompaniment to a Travel-Novella that will be on sale in late June. Take a listen, the music has strong roots, but the voices sing of future blossoms. With Andrew on guitar, Jeanette on violin and Phil on bass they allow Chloe the space to let her sumptuous, earthy vocals seduce the soul with words of tragic beauty. • Miguel Zambujeira – blending several genres with his own epic guitar style, Miguel and his band scale indie, rock and pop culture to create an emotional connect with their generation. Gigging in various combinations across East Anglia, Miguel has brought together the rhythm section of drummer Stefan, keyboardist Rob, bass Alex with Juliana and Eli on backing vocals, to write new songs on his forthcoming EP Unwritten Skies. • Ghost Carnival – are Alex Machell, Nicole Horst and Tom Gaskell . Developing their craft in the alt. folk/rock scene, when previously known as Saudi Shakes, they come to the table with explosive songs about the storms blowing outside our windows. From one end of the spectrum about the cost of living, to the other about the rising oceans, their sinuous, rippling bass’n’drums will ask you to raise your voice and be heard. • All My Trials – Joe, Mike, Conrad and Troy ply their craft across the land, creating a raw and gutsy rhythm-sound tinged with tales, legends and new battles. Conrad plays the devil’s wah-wah cocooning the audience, whilst Troy and Mike stir up a primeval pulse, over which Joe wails words of life and life. • Efte – is a pianist and soprano whose evolving sound draws inspiration from artists like Agnes Obel and Aurora. Performing in intimate settings such as speakeasies, folk clubs, and local festivals, her ethereal and harmonious music bridges centuries and cultures. Her unique style is deeply rooted in a blend of British, Finnish, and Bengali cultural influences, creating a rich stew from which she crafts her contemporary sound.
