Nurry Lee Biography
Nurry Lee is a Classical trained Concert Pianist, who has performed across the world including performing Fever's Candlelight Concert in Seoul as well as Carnegie Hall, and has been recognised as one of Kawai's Official Artists. Nurry is someone who holds reverence for classical music and is confident in the concert Hall but also willing to push boundaries in the name of bringing her music to as many people as possible .
In her own words:
I believe that music enriches the soul and can help to bring all people closer together. My mission is about giving access to classical piano music to as many people as possible. I would play in Carnegie Hall one day, and a pub down the road the next day. For me, music itself has no boundaries.
It has always been my objective, since I was quite young. At least, since I was a teenager, when I first became aware of these social boundaries and barriers surrounding classical music. It almost made no sense to me. Classical music, as I know it, was a form of art that has helped me in many ways, and that is a type of art form that transcends all these barriers of society.
