Sweetie Biography
There is more than one artist named Sweetie.
After a brief spell making experimental noise as 'Extensions To No', D.Knowler began Sweetie in 1996. A string of releases often issued on very limited edition CDR and cassette followed including 'Language Is A Virus', 'No' and 'Rock' (a collaboration with Paper Colleague for an installation in NYC based on the work of John Cage).
In 2005 Sweetie released 'I Can Laugh About It Now But At The Time It Was Really Awful' on Actual Size music. D.Knowler is also the singer and guitarist for UK rock band Leisur Hive.
Previously there has also been another artist called Sweetie: female singer featured on the Angular Recording Corporation's compilation albums who now performs and records as 'Japanese Mind Control'.
