We're keen to showcase what we call the "Golden Age of Great Jazz in Great Britain" and who better than to focus on than the incredible Mr Tubby Hayes. His internationally recognised music and his fascinating personal story will be deftly told by Hayes' biographer, mega-fan, old friend of the National Jazz Archive and world-class saxman in his own right Simon Spillett and his all-star band of Alec Dankworth (bass), Pete Billington (piano) and Pete Cater (drums). As THE jazz archive for the UK, we've been waiting for yonks for this gig to come around...join us for what will be a VERY special performance of that Great Jazz in Great Britain.
