About this concert
Common Koi is a dance rock band from Eugene, OR Bowl Peace is twea pop from Eugene, OR Rainbow City Park is an indie-rock/dream pop band from Northern California. The group draws inspiration from the 90s alt-rock scene and modern artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, Diiv, and Pinegrove. RCP is based out of Sacramento, Davis, and San Francisco. Forming in 2021, Chris O’Keefe (guitar) began working through an initial collection of riffs, adding Ryan Williams (drums), Dani Judith (lead vocals, guitar), and Nick Nassab (guitar, vocals) to fill out the lineup. In 2022, RCP extensively toured the Northern California music scene behind an early collection of guitar-heavy tunes. Quickly being recognized for their tight and energetic performances, they finished the year supporting Japanese Breakfast and The National Parks at Sacramento’s Farm-to-Fork Festival. They released “Broken Record / Dad Jeans” and “Convince You” in 2023 and continued to develop their sound through a busy tour schedule, including supporting Wild Child at Sacramento’s Concerts in the Park. “Valentine’s Day 1999” was released in early 2024 to critical acclaim and high praise from the West Coast indie scene. In support of the release, the group toured up and down California performing alongside artists such as Royel Otis, Katy Kirby, Ben Nichols of Lucero, Wilt, Mom Cars, Couch Dog, Sour Widows, and The Moondrops. In the spring, the group held a weeklong residency at the Panoramic House with producer Mike Davis to record their debut EP, set to be released in early 2025. Blending waves of washy guitar and dynamic percussion, Judith’s voice is front and center on this diverse, five-song collection exploring themes of growth and desire. The band’s latest single “Complicate This” was released in October 2024, teasing the sound to come on their upcoming EP. “Sometimes things just click, music melds, and something special comes together. This was the case for Rainbow City Park, a Davis and Sacramento-based indie band that is taking off – right in our backyard” – The Dirt Grasp’s sound is hard to place. It draws from a variety of genres and artists. From upright bassist Avishai Cohen to singer-songwriter and rocker Jeff Buckley, there is a wide range of influences in the band. “I would have to describe it on a spectrum. If you put jazz and hard rock at the opposite ends of the spectrum the sounds just fall between them,” guitarist Gibsen Andresen said. “It’s hard to put a label on it, but I guess that’s something that we take pride in on a certain level.” Topeka Clementine is a San Diego-based music collective that blends indie, jazz, folk, and lo-fi genres. They gained popularity through social media and have a DIY ethos, according to their Instagram account. The band consists of Lana and Nash (vocalists), Kai (writer/producer), Anthony (guitar), Will (sax), Malachi (drums), and Kyre (bass).
